The Mother of Black-Winged Dreams

The performance with which I bid farewell to the Dutch National Opera Academy, the MA opera programme with which I had been associated as Head of Drama since its foundation. Contemporary works were part of the curriculum from the outset, something both artistic director Alexander Oliver and I were strongly in favour of.
